So. After almost two years of consideration, I've made a pretty huge decision to serve my country.NOT in the military (those that know me, know I don't do well with orders for one and for two, I'm allergic to almost everything outside anyway).
I'm applying to join Americorps. I haven't told anyone really yet except for the people I'm asking to act as references. I'm so incredibly excited at the opportunity to work a job I'm actually going to like!! The pay's going to be absolute crap, but so what? I'm finally doing it!! Woot! Wish me luck!! And if you get an email begging for a reference be kind, LOL.
