Holy Shuzz

Wow, it's almost been a year since I've used this thing. Hard to believe. Well, I'm officially a procrastinator and unofficially, a GJ addict, haha. Catch me there if you wanna say howdy. Screen name's the same and I'd love to catch up with you guys.

I'm thinking of getting on LiveJournal but there are only a couple of people I know of that are on there that would actually make it all worth it. In other news, it's cold! Brr. Maybe not for some of you crazy northerners =P but for me, born in Cali and lived most of her life in Texas, we might as well be in the Arctic. What have I been up to for the past months? Well, in a nutshell, work, school and various mini-dramas that I really didn't enjoy the first time around and definitely wouldn't enjoy in the retelling of them so suffice it to say I've made it through alive and for that I am happy.

Oh, I have a cell phone now and I get free weekend minutes, so if you like...and more importantly if I actually know you, gimme a call on the weekend sometime. Just message me on yahoo or something and I'll give you my number...or you can give me yours. Whatevs. Anyway, I've gotta go to work soon so ciao for now. I'm not going to make any promises but I will TRY to keep this thing up and running *grins sheepishly* Adios!

Hah!

I have a lot going on right now. I'm a bit confused by it all actually and I'm hoping to come upon some clarity any moment now.

...

*twiddles thumbs*

I'm still waiting...

Anyway, I've worked most of Spring Break...and if anything, I hate my job more than I did during Christmas. So many people have quit. I've been grinning and bearing it (mostly because the whole applying and getting a new job process is so very tedious, and I can't afford to just quit) but we'll see how much more of this I can take. I really like the people I work with so it's going to make me sad when I have to leave them. But I'm stressing myself out to the point of grays. I think I found a gray hair this afternoon while I doing my hair. Didn't examine too closely though cause the very idea of it freaked me out.

In other news, men suck. In the bad way. And that's all I'm going to say on that for the time being.

Procrastinating

I'm supposed to be on here studying for an exam and working on a paper that's due tomorrow but I really don't want to. I mean, I know I'm going to have to eventually get started cause I have to go to work to help close in a few hours, but I just don't feel like doing anything right now.

Anyway, I've decided that from here on out, I'm going to do a better job of keeping this thing updated. Probably not right off because Spring Break is soon, but very soon!

Five WEIRD Habits

I haven't posted here in a long time, have I? GJ's just a lot more convenient, so I've been spending most of my time there. I do, however, want to say "hello" to anyone who I may not have spoken to in a long time. And I want to try to post five of my weirdest habits (this idea was stolen from Geeb). It's going to be really hard since I don't really have any habits, but I'm going to go for it.

1. I count steps everywhere I go. I don't know how this one started. There are fourteen at my mom's house, forty something on the way to the school library, and about a dozen up to my apartment.

2. I collect music. Songs I heard while I was really young, songs I heard while growing up...and it's all stored on my computer, mp3 player, and on burnt CDs.

3. I'm a language nerd. I'm currently fluent in English and Spanish, I know all of the alphabet and a few signs in sign language, and I'm learning to speak both Japanese and French. I can swear in Spanish, Japanese, and Italian.

4. I memorize movie lines, famous quotations, song lyrics, etc and use them in everyday conversation. I don't do this on purpose...it just happens.

5. I'm a bit of a packrat. I hate to throw anything away if it has any kind of sentimental value to it. I still have a chicken my sister knitted/crocheted (or whatever) in art class ten years ago.

Hey, it wasn't nearly as hard as I thought it was going to be...
